The latest psychological thriller by author Erica R. Stinson includes a character named Oliver who uses a robotic prosthetic hand. When creating her character Erica sought guidance from NY Rehab Prosthetics. She toured our facilities and learned everything she could about the use of prosthetic hands to make her character come to life.

FIVE TOWNS JEWISH TIMES
The Center for Initiatives in Jewish Education Engineering Program came to NY Rehab to learn the process of fabricating prosthetic limbs including 3D scans, machining, mechanics and testing. We loved showing them around and hope that they take what they learn and want to pursue the field!

UNIVISION
In 2015, NY Rehab Prosthetics worked alongside Univision and Montefiore hospital to donate bilateral prostheses to a man who lost both his limbs. We later provided him replacment sockets and were featured on their news special regarding this remarkable man.
