When creating her character Erica sought guidance from NY Rehab Prosthetics. She toured our facilities and learned everything she could about the use of prosthetic hands to make her character come to life.

The Center for Initiatives in Jewish Education Engineering Program came to NY Rehab to learn the process of fabricating prosthetic limbs including 3D scans, machining, mechanics and testing. We loved showing them around and hope that they take what they learn and want to pursue the field!
